In the second Test at Vizag, Jaiswal scored 209 runs in India’s first innings, followed by an unbeaten 214 in the second innings of the Rajkot Test, contributing significantly to India’s commanding 434-run victory. Consequently, he has ascended 14 spots to 15th place in the batting charts.

Ravindra Jadeja, who was named the Player of the Match in the third Test, has also made progress in the batting rankings, moving up from 41st to 34th position after his innings of 112 runs in the first innings.

Additionally, Jadeja’s stellar performance with the ball, taking a seven-wicket haul in the match, has propelled him three places up to sixth in the bowling rankings.

Senior off-spinner R Ashwin achieved a significant milestone by joining the elite 500 Test wicket club during the match at Rajkot. This accomplishment propelled him to the second position in the bowling rankings, just behind pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.

Jadeja and Ashwin maintained their stronghold at the top two spots in the Test all-rounders rankings. Jadeja’s dominance among the all-rounders was further solidified as he increased his rating points from 416 to a career-best 469.

In the batting rankings, India’s captain Rohit Sharma progressed one place to 12th after his notable innings of 131 runs in the first innings at Rajkot. Shubman Gill’s commendable performance, scoring 91 runs, helped him climb three spots to 35th position in the rankings.

Two debutants, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel, made their entry into the rankings, securing the 75th and 100th positions, respectively.

Despite being absent from the series due to personal reasons, Virat Kohli remains the sole Indian in the top-10 batters’ chart, holding the seventh spot.

Meanwhile, England opener Ben Duckett’s impressive century (153) in the first innings at Rajkot propelled him up by 12 places to 13th in the rankings.

In other developments, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson strengthened his position at the summit of the batting rankings following his century against South Africa in the second Test. He is followed by Steve Smith and Daryl Mitchell in the batting rankings.
