IPL 2024: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) versus Rajasthan Royals (RR) match in Kolkata and Gujarat Titans (GT) versus Delhi Capitals (DC) match in Ahmedabad have been rescheduled
The IPL 2024 fixtures involving Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), as well as Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals, have been rescheduled due to the Ram Navami festivities.
This decision came after the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) informed the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) about security concerns in Kolkata. The Kolkata Police cited challenges in providing sufficient security for the match amidst the Ram Navami celebrations, as reported by PTI.
Originally scheduled for April 17 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, the match between KKR and RR will now take place a day earlier on April 16, 2024.
Similarly, the match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, initially slated for April 16, 2024, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, has been postponed by a day and is rescheduled to April 17.
