Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah could play one of the two Tests vs Bangladesh next month: Report
India’s leading fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, could be included in the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh next month, as reported by The Indian Express.
Bumrah’s most recent appearance was during the T20 World Cup in June 2024. Currently, he is managing his workload and did not join the Indian team for their white-ball series in Sri Lanka.
The Test series between India and Bangladesh is set to begin on September 19 at Chepauk, with the second Test scheduled to start on September 27 at Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium.
The report suggests that Bumrah might participate in one of the two Tests against Bangladesh. Additionally, he may play in two Tests during the subsequent series against New Zealand, as there is only a three-day gap between the three matches.
