T20 World Cup 24 winner star Hardik Pandya receives grand welcome upon his arrival in Vadodara
On Monday, July 15, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was warmly welcomed in his hometown of Vadodara for his significant contribution to India’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The 30-year-old celebrated the team’s triumph by participating in a roadshow, drawing a large crowd of enthusiastic fans.
Hardik shared the excitement on Instagram, posting videos from the event where he is seen waving to the crowd from the top of a bus.
Hardik Pandya delivered an outstanding performance in the T20 World Cup, particularly during the final over when he successfully defended 15 runs, securing India’s narrow seven-run win over South Africa in the championship match at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
Throughout the tournament, Hardik took 11 wickets in eight innings and amassed 144 runs in six innings. His standout batting display was against Bangladesh, where he scored an unbeaten 50 off 27 balls in the second Super 8 match.
